Stanley Martin Homes was formerly Essex Homes and was acquired in 2020 by Stanley Martin.  Karl Haslinger, the former owner of Essex Homes has been building for the past 34 years.  He will remain as the regional president.

DR Horton Homes has been building since 1978 and is based out of Texas.  It has been the nation’s largest home builder by volume since 2002.  They build in 29 states across the country.

Ryan Homes has been building since 1948, where they started in Pittsburgh, Pa.  They are in 14 states today and have been building in Columbia for a while now.  They are part of the NVR family.
