Blythewood Real Estate

Blythewood is in Fairfield and Richland counties, 13 miles north of the South Carolina state capital of Columbia. This town is part of the greater Columbia metropolitan area and less than an hour from Charlotte, North Carolina. As of the 2010 Census, Blythewood was home to 2,034 residents. Blythewood offers residents a rural feel right outside the city. Neighborhoods in Blythewood are fairly new and wooded. 

While development is underway, the town keeps southern traditions close to heart. Visit the Doko Meadows Park, the Manor at Doko Meadows, or the George P Hoffman House of 1855 to dig deeper into Blythewoods southern charm. Blythewood is also home to the University of South Carolina Equestrian center and has served as training grounds for the US Olympic equestrian teams.
